On October 1, 2026, DRIVE Electric Arizona returned to Salt River Project (SRP) headquarters in Tempe for our third annual SRP Employee EV Ride & Drive, giving employees an opportunity to experience the latest electric vehicles firsthand.
The event featured eight electric vehicles available for test drives, representing a diverse selection of SUVs, pickup trucks, and crossovers from leading manufacturers. Employees had the opportunity to get behind the wheel, compare vehicles, and speak directly with knowledgeable EV owners and industry representatives.
Eight Electric Vehicles, One Hands-On Experience
This year's test drive lineup offered something for nearly every driving preference:
From everyday commuting to family transportation and outdoor adventures, the variety of vehicles demonstrated how electric mobility can meet a wide range of driving needs and lifestyles.
Thank You to Our Partners
A special thank you to our dealership and manufacturer partners—San Tan Ford, Arrowhead Volvo, Tesla, and Rivian—for generously contributing vehicles and staff to support the event. Their participation helped provide SRP employees with an informative, hands-on experience.
We extend our sincere appreciation to SRP, our valued partner and sponsor, for welcoming us back to its Tempe headquarters for the third consecutive year. SRP's continued support makes opportunities like this possible, helping more Arizonans explore the benefits of electric transportation.
Explore Electric.
DRIVE Electric Arizona's Ride & Drive events are designed to make electric vehicle education accessible, approachable, and engaging. By putting people behind the wheel and connecting them with experienced EV owners, we help drivers make informed decisions about their next vehicle.
We look forward to continuing our partnership with SRP and bringing more hands-on EV experiences to communities and workplaces throughout Arizona.
